  • I am grateful for all the nature around me, as it fills my senses with beautiful scenes, smells and sounds which gives me a peaceful feeling of calm and serenity anytime I need it

  • I am thankful for my mobility because I am able to be independent in everything that I do in life including walking, eating, drinking and using the toilet

  • I am thankful for my hearing, as it provides a soundtrack to my life.

    • I like to use this one when there is a dog that won't stop barking or loud noises nearby. I repeat: "I am grateful for my hearing, I am grateful for my hearing, I am grateful for my hearing!" Then I usually smile, because I know that I truly am grateful I am able to hear these noises, even if unpleasant :)

Methods of Gratitude
